Some Stussy

Thats right, some but not all... we've had our first delivery of Stussy t-shirts for Spring/Summer 2010 which are now live on the site. Stussy are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year, and as some of the tees that will be rolling in over the next few weeks will show they've pulled out all the stops to celebrate!

Along the more classic side of things the designs we've had in so far include a brand new colourway of the classic logo tee, the Basic Logo in Heather White colour, and a mixup of two of the classic brandings, the Stock Skull Mix, which has been done in a neon coloured print giving it a standout 3D effect!

The rest of our new Stussy designs can be viewed here, with a whole range of other designs due in over the next few weeks.

Fresh Out the Box Obey

Some quality new styles from Obey have just gone live on our site, including the summer cut of best selling M65 style jacket, the 'Iggy'. We have also had some fresh new tees in, including 'Japanese Diamond' taken from their organics range (all with full SKAL certification) and the classic Obey pocket t-shirt 'Old Works Tee' in an allover thin striped design.

We have also just confirmed delivery of a very special run of Obey Awareness t-shirts, which are intended to raise awareness for the recent Haiti earthquake disaster and feature the specially comissioned Shepard Fairey collaboration artwork created for the limited edition prints a few weeks ago (see blog post from beginning of Feb.)

As soon as these arrive they will be made available online, so watch this space. In the meantime you can view our Obey Spring/Summer collection here.

Sun is Shining

Just taking a quick break from all things clothing for us to point out this little gem to go with your sunny day!

One of our favourite artists/DJs/performers is without doubt the rather marvellous Mr A Skillz, and we've just stumbled upon a rather fantastic mix he did for Annie Nightingale's radio show that is absolutely FREE to download!

Trekking accross the funk and breaks spectrum A Skillz takes us on a journey through artists as diverse as Sub Focus, The Beach Boys, Caspa, The Jackson 5, Groove Armada, Dire Straits and the Freestylers, along with his own cheeky re-edits of some classics. If you're not familiar with his stuff this is the perfect introduction, and if you are a seasoned follower then you will know this is essential listening!

But don't just take our word for it - follow the link and get it downloaded now!

Obey Awareness

Freshly uploaded to our website is a selection of tees from Obey's new collection. Amongst these is the lastest Obey Awareness t-shirt, which is this season in support of animal charity 'Adopt-a-Pet.com'.

'Adopt-a-pet.com' are North America's largest non-profit pet adoption service, and directly tackle the currently out of hand problem in the US of stray animals that are being destroyed as there are too many to house. There are currently over 7,500 shelters and various organisations that rely on the support of 'Adopt-a-pet.com'. Shepard Fairey and the Obey team all take a personal interest in this cause and are more than happy to be able to help raising awareness for this valuable charity through their art and clothing.

The new tee design, featuring exclusive artwork designed by Shepard himself, is available in men and women's cuts. The guy's tee is in black, and available to buy online now - the women's will be added along with the rest of our Obey women's line in the next few days.

Penfield Spring/Summer 2010

We've taken a quick break from unpacking fresh stock to give a bit of an update on whats in and whats on...

One of the most anticipated deliveries at Switch is always from Penfield, and we are happy to report they have not failed to disappoint this season! With a great collection of summer jackets, some great shirts and for the first time a proper collection of t-shirt designs to choose from.

The Gibson Jacket has already been flying out the door, with its Hudson Wax cloth construction this jacket is windproof and water resistant, making it the perfect lightweight summer jacket for all weathers! On the shirt side of things, the Kerman and Tompkins shirts are both winners with their button away collar features allowing you two different looks, whilst the Anzak hooded shirt makes a welcome return after being one of last summers best sellers.

T-shirt designs are classic looking, as you would expect, with Penfield heritage branding and sharp 'Bear' image and branding. The Big Bear t-shirt makes a return in a slightly different colourway, with the Original Logo tee and Crest tee featuring some classic Penfield logo action.

Last but by no means least, Penfield have decided to honour our support across the years by naming a jacket after us! (Whilst it would be an honour, sadly it is just pure coincidence!) All the same the Switch jacket is one of our key pieces this season - fully mesh lined, lightweight ripstop cotton jacket with zip away hood and Penfield heritage branding on the front chest zip pocket. Available in 2 colourways - Blue and Grey.
