Calling all ladies...

A load of new women's stuff has gone live on our site today, with plenty more being added over the next few days. Some really nice dresses, tops and skirts from a new brand to Switch, Gentle Fawn (link to page) and some classic pieces from one of our old favourites, Icelandic streetwear specialists Nikira (link here).

Got a load more to add from Matix and Fenchurch amongst others, which should hopefully be live by the end of the week...

Leading a Quiet Life

Just a very quick update to let you know we've had our first delivery of stuff from streetwear label 'The Quiet Life'. Owned and run by Andy Mueller, who works as creative director for Lakai footwear and designs skate decks for the likes of Girl, Chocolate and Fourstar - 'The Quiet Life' produce a small range of tees and other garments each season, which feature some of the most poignant yet understated graphics around.

Same Switch Different Day

Hello and welcome to the first Switch 45 Blog for a long time. Over the last few months we have been undergoing a lot of changes - mainly our relocation from our old store into a much bigger and better one!

Our new address for those of you paying a visit is: 23 Holyrood Street, Newport, Isle of Wight, PO30 5AZ. You can still get us on the same phone number - (01983) 822243.

Alongside a change of location, we have now rebranded ourselves to be simply called 'Switch'. As a result we now have a brand new website address - www.switch-clothing.co.uk - although we're gonna hang on to the old URL (www.switch45.co.uk) for old times sakes (and for anyone who happens not to have noticed we've changed!)

Anyway we're proud to have added some legends in streetwear to our brand rosta, and can now boast Stussy, Boxfresh and Rogue Status alongside Gentle Fawn and Matix for the ladies. Stock is currently being uploaded to the website as fast as our internet connection can carry it, and you should be able to check out all our new ranges within a couple of weeks. First post for 2009, and here's wishing a Happy New Year to all from the Switch 45 team! The only words you need to hear for now are the words SALE SALE SALE. Massive reductions across our store as we look to clear our Autumn/Winter stock to make way for all the Spring/Summer delights over the next couple of months.

We have stock on sale from all of our major brands, including reductions on Penfield and Obey clothing, savings across Carhartt and Fenchurch, and clearout prices on some other great items for some of the cheapest prices you will find anywhere! Fresh into stock we have several things perfect for Christmas Gifts for that 'hard to buy for person'. The Terrorist Teapot from Suck UK, is without doubt one of the best looking teapots we've ever seen (and we like tea!) - complete with balaclava tea cosy and capacity to brew up to 6 cups!

Also back in stock we have everyones favourite 'unfortunate' desktop buddies - Splat Stan and Dead Fred, alongside whom we welcome their new friend Stress Paul. This week should be a biggy for gift deliveries as we get ready for the 'big rush', alongside which we should have a new drop of stock from Penfield - if we can keep it around long enough to get it on the site, their stuff keeps flying out!
